On Monday, a judge permitted the removal of former Stockton major Anthony Silva’s GPS ankle monitoring device. This was a lengthy battle that California defense attorney Allen Sawyer requested three consecutive times since March of 2017. It successfully concluded because the former mayor had met all of the conditions of his bail.
